Become a cocktail connoisseur

Treat your family and friends to some impressive cocktails this weekend. They’ll think you took up cocktail lessons as your isolation hobby, when actually we’ve done all the hard work for you. You just need to follow these simple steps, then sit back and watch the cocktail cheer sky rocket.

Dangerously drinkable, this coffee cocktail is made to keep the party going all night long.

What you’ll need:
45ml Café Patron
15ml Vanilla Liqueur
15ml Vanilla syrup
45ml Espresso

Method:
Fill a shaker with ice cubes
Place all ingredients into the shaker and shake vigorously
Double strain into a martini glass
Garnish with a couple of coffee beans or shaved chocolate and serve immediately

 

Sometimes, the mood simply calls for a drink that’s a bit more fresh and fruity. On a hot day, this sweet, boozy cocktail is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

What you’ll need:
30ml Fords Gin
15ml Framboise
15ml Bacardi spiced
15ml simple syrup
30ml lemon juice
1 x egg white
4 x blackberries

Method:
Muddle blackberries in cocktail shaker
Add all other ingredients and shake hard
Strain into an old fashioned glass
Garnish with a flared strawberry

More innocent than the name suggests, this delicious combination of vanilla and passion fruit accompanied by a shot of sparkling wine, certainly is a star.

What you’ll need:
45ml Vanilla vodka
15ml Passionfruit syrup
15ml Vanilla syrup
45ml Prosecco
30ml Lime juice
30ml Pine juice

Method:
Fill a shaker with ice cubes
Add all ingredients except prosecco and shake
Strain mix into a martini glass
Top with half a passionfruit and serve with a glass of chilled prosecco
