1. The Spaces

We have a space for literally every size group and occasion. Host a long lunch on the balcony, book the mezzanine and enjoy some live music, or cosy up in front of the fireplace. If your groups a little bigger, you can exclusively hire Swill Bar for your event!

2. The Food

The Kitchen menu has all your favourite pub classics with a modern twist, and if you’re a fan of Italian food (who isn’t!) you’ve come to the right place. We have the best woodfired pizza in Newcastle, and all of our pastas are made fresh in house from scratch. We also have a number of function menus to suit your needs including canapés, platters and alternate drop menus.

3. The Cocktails

Our cocktail list is designed by our Group Beverage Manager, Brent Tozer. With over 25 years’ experience in the industry, Brent knows a thing or two about designing cocktails. In our dedicated cocktail bar, you can try unique cocktails that you won’t find anywhere else. If you book a function with us, we can design a cocktail exclusively for your event!*

4. The Music

Experience some of the best local musicians every weekend, from our sound system that came straight out of the Sydney Opera House! On Fridays, enjoy live music 6pm till late and Saturdays we have live music from 6pm and DJs till 3am.

5. The People

If you’ve been to The Exchange, you will know our staff are some of the friendliest faces in town, plus we have an events team who will work with you every step of the way to bring your dream to life. From start to finish, let us take the stress out of Christmas party planning, so you can just enjoy!
